New Maestro WebBuilder Features

Since releasing our Maestro WebBuilder product a few weeks ago we have received feedback from our users with suggestions for improvements and new features.  Based on this feedback we are happy to announce several new features that we hope take the product to the next level.

1. Ordering of Albums and Videos
If you have an older recording that you'd like to highlight you can move it to the top of the list.  Or, if you uploaded several videos and they aren't in the order you performed them in you can move them.  Your new order will also be used to display music and videos on your InstantEncore.com page.  To change the order go to the Music or Videos page in the Digital Assets section of your Control Panel and click the "Order Albums" or "Order Videos" link.

2. Add a "Featured Event" as a Side Bar item
The Featured Event item is similar to the Featured Recording Side Bar item.  It lets you specifically feature any upcoming event with information about when and where it is occurring, as well as including the title and image for the event.  You have the option to automatically feature your next event if you would like.

3. Feature a specific Music Recording in the Side Bar - not just the most recent
The "Latest Recording" Side Bar item has been updated to allow you to select any of your recordings to be featured, not just the latest.  You still have the option to automatically feature the latest recording if you would like.

4. Add HTML/Text to your Home Page without limits on length
You now have a blank canvas on the home page (directly under the slideshow) where you can include an unlimited amount of text or HTML.  This area acts just like a Custom Page and gives you the ability to include a message of any length.  Because it's HTML compatible you can embed pictures and other widgets in this area, too.

5. Add "Buy" Links for any Music albums you have uploaded that can be purchased on other websites
If an album that you've uploaded to InstantEncore is available for purchase from another website you can now provide a "Buy" link for your fans.  Just include the name of the store (i.e. iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, etc) and the link.  You can have as many buy links as you want for each album.  To add "Buy" links go to the album management page and click "Pricing & Buy Links" in the menu on the left.

You may notice several other small changes, too.  We hope that you find that all of the changes make your website more powerful and easier to manage.  As always, please let us know if you have any feedback.

It would be great to add the "move" feature to photos, too!
